Boy Edwin Gift Card Holder

It is a beautiful sunny day here in Australia.
The birds are singing, a dog is barking & there is the sound of a lawnmower whizzing across someone's lawn.  It isn't too hot but the humidity is setting in.  A gorgeous day :)  What is the weather like where you are?

I have been busy creating & designing the last few days.  Now that I have incorporated the Dreamtime Pinterest Challenge on my blog I am finding that I am a lot more motivated to create more designs.  My pins on my Pinterest boards are giving me more ideas & lots of inspiration :)

For example, I created my little design with the help of Michelle's gift card holder tutorial.

Thank you Michelle :)

For those of you who visit my blog on a regular basis (thank you :) you would know that I always colour my stamped images more than once at the same time, just to save time.  Hence why I decided to have baby Edwin be the star on this design too :)

I coloured him with Copics & also used my white Sakura gel pen to add some highlights.

One of the challenges that I am entering this week is to clear out any supply that we have had for a while.  I used the polka dot patterned paper which I have had for quite some time.  I still have a little left, which I will be using on a very near future design, but I have definately used a fair bit of it on little Edwins gift card holder :)

The gift card is actually my Daughter Zoe's lol.  After I created the design & wanted to take photo's of it, I realised that I didn't have a gift card to put into it lol.  I was stressing out when Zoe told me that I could 'borrow' hers lol.  Thanks Zo :)  You are truly wonderful :)

The stars are from a die cut sheet that I have had in my stash for the longest time.  I am so happy that I was able to use them :)

All in all, the gift card holder was extremely easy to make & I totally encourage you to try it :)

Thank you Michelle for the tutorial.  I really appreciate your help.
(I will be sure to contact Michelle to let her know she has been featured on my blog).
