Hi to all my wonderful blog viewers :)
How have you been? I certainly hope all is well with you & yours :)
I have been a very busy bee for a while. So much has been happening but one of the exciting things is that Zoe & I have moved. We are now living in a wonderful little beachside town called Umina Beach. We have only been here a month so far & we are loving every day :)
Moving wasn't too crash hot but we managed it without any major mishaps. Michael & Cory, my two eldest Son's (24 & 20 yrs old) decided to play a trick on me. They wanted me to go into the back of the truck to look at something & as soon as I was inside...they locked the truck doors behind me! I knew they were trying to get a reaction out of me so I simply sat on the floor of the truck & called out to them that they could let me out when they were ready to let me out :)
Playing it sooo cool I was lol. BUT then, what happens? All of a sudden the truck starts up! Michael had got into the drivers seat, started the engine & the next thing I know, the truck starts rumbling into action! I quickly jumped up & started banging on the truck doors, yelling "Let me out"! LOL No longer was there lack of reaction - they were now getting EVERY reaction that they wanted. I was banging on the doors, asking nicely to let me out, begging them not to drive off with me in the back...and then I felt the truck moving forward! Now I'm screaming for them to STOP the truck! lol
Next thing I know, the truck doors fly open, in comes the daylight & right there in front of me was all of my three children killing themselves laughing lol. Their prank on me was a huge success lol. I'm just grateful that they hadn't recorded it to put it on FB or Youtube lol. However, they were kicking themselves that 'they hadn't thought about that' lol. That was the most fantastic news I had heard all day ...the little rat bags lol.
I am very thankful that they came & helped me move. I couldn't be more grateful :) It was a good fun day for all of us. I loved it :)
Here's a little glimpse of my beachside town :)
Nice, isn't it? We love it here. Anyway, I will be posting more about this later but for now, would you like to see my latest design?
I had actually started to work on the Baby Boy Scrapbook Border a little while ago, but I didn't have time to finish it as I had to pack up my craft studio & all of my supplies ready to be moved. Seriously, I could not believe how much I had until I started to pack everything into boxes. The amount of boxes that there were just for my supplies was unbelievable! I simply didn't realise how much stuff I have & to think I have just finished sending off two more orders for more goodies lol. Oh well, I will just have to get more boxes next time lol.
I coloured Baby Edwin in the following Copic colours:
Skin: E0000, 000, 00, 11
Hair & boots: E50, 51, 53, 57
Outfit: B02, 93, 95, 97
Crown: Y00, 06, 08, 17
Want to pin the Copic colour combo?
I tried to use as much of my paper scraps as possible. It is good to see that the pile is slowly getting smaller. Slowly lol. As you can see I included a heart tag which also has a pacifier 'charm' dangling from it on a silver chain.
If you would like to pin this to your board:
I have started to create scrapbooking borders as I feel that they create a quick & simple solution to those that want to increase the productivity & save time when adding new photo's & pages to their scrapbook album. Not many of us have the time to create beautiful scrapbook pages, if you're anything like me, life just gets in the way lol. The pre-made scrapbook borders not only decorate your pages, already come with a title, can be easily adhered to your page but they also create more time for you that can be spent with your family & the opportunity to take more photos...for more scrapbooking :)
